Hello, I am the page owner, Asnake. My missing sister — our mother's name was Ato'ri or Fentaw, she was called. We were born in Raya Kobo. At the time, our mother, through a Catholic mission/organization, in [Ethiopian year] 1983, took my sister to Alamata and had her placed for foster care (adoption) by an organization. She was later, in 1987, given to a family for adoption. When I inquired with the adoption organization, they said she had gone to America, but on her file the name of the adoptive family, the city where she resides, and other details were not available. Please help — right now our mother is still alive [or has passed — unclear], and I too am searching for my lost sister. Please, I am asking under the name mentioned.
